The Chiseled Bookshelf is a new block coming to Minecraft 1.20 that is used to store books.

Now how will we use the chiseled bookshelf when we don’t know the recipe?

Well, that is what are we about to learn. The crafting recipe should look like this:

You do not have to use a specific plank and slab.

Now how do we use it? So first take any type of book for example an enchanted book then find the little lines on the bookshelf and look on their sides.

We now have to right-click on the front side bookshelf.

I will now show how does it look with books inside and how it emits a weak redstone signal.
